Finals Result:

BOHICA 87, Rusty Aries 64

BOHICA jumped out to an 11-0 lead to open the game and never looked back as they ran to their second BVBL title in as many years. Paced by Kris Johnson (22 points and 7 threes) and Brian Vayda (18 points) BOHICA lead from wire to wire. Rusty Aries made a few runs and even got the lead to single digits as late as 10 minutes to go in the first half behind the balanced attack of Josh Dunton (15) Alex Curry (15) and Raheem Lewis (12).

BOHICA was not to denied however as Joey McCann tossed in 17 of his own and Jeff Lindgren added 14. Scott Felper provided his normal junkyard dog game and Justin Aldrich ran the offense effectively and efficiently.

What To Watch For:

If it is a close game you have to give the edge to Rusty Aries. They have ground out close games all year long and players like Dunton, Whitten and Groth have shined down the stretch of games. BOHICA has not played in many close games in 2 years and it's questionable they will know what to do when the time comes. Should be a great game!
