The Amigos staged a late comeback behind 21 from Stef Masciarelli, but their tough luck season continues with a loss to the Leftover Lasagna Conglomerate. Kyle McKissick had 21 in the victory while Dave Zielinski kicked in 11. Leftover will be the 1 seed, while The Amigos head to the mega bowl.

Birds 73, Roadrunners 53

Chris Casey had 14 and Cole Miller added 14 of his own as the Birds held off the Road Runners. Road Runners got 18 from Connor Warner. The Birds locked up the 2 seed, while the Roadruners will be the 8.

D-Fence 73, No Truth 48

Tyler Patchen had 17, while Dylan Grandmisson had 13 as D-Fence cruised. No Truth got 11 from Mendez in defeat.

Q Tang Clan 74, Scrap Metal 71

Jundain Taufeeq dropped 24 and Trevor Oliver added 20 for Q Tang as they locked up the 5 seed. Scrap Metal got 23 from Kevin Perry and 17 from Jake Ramos. Scrap Metal is the 6 seed. 

BOHICA 76, The Reg 62

Ned Fitzpatrick (23 points) and Russ Rau (16) brought The Reg back to tie the score in the second half, but their was too much Kamahl Walker (27 points) and too much Andreas Kontoplidas (21 points). BOHICA is the 3 seed, The Reg is the 7.

Trevor Oliver had 18 as the Q positioned itself for the playoffs - CJ Towns had 18 in defeat for The Amigos who are mega bowl bound.

Chris Casey had 23 and Dan Libetore had 15 as the Birds wore down No Truth. Aaron Brandeo had 21 for No Truth 

Scrap Metal 75 The Reg 70

Despite 25 from Ned Fitzpatrick and 18 from Russell Rau The Reg fell to Scrap Metal. The Metal crew was paced with 33 from Ryan Flauto and 15 from Aidan Chase.

Kyle Mckissick had 25 for the victors while Elijiah Wheeler had 19 in defeat for the Road Runners.

BOHICA 77, D-Fence 63

Kamahl Walker (20), Dre Kontaplidis (19), and Jeff Hunter (28) lead the charge for BOHICA as they vaulted themselves back into the discussion. DFence got 21 from Logan Talbot.

Connor Warner (23) and Elijiah Wheeler (20) lead the charge for the Road Runners in their victory over the Amigos. John Jango had 42 for Amigos in defeat which is the current season BVBL high. 

Scrap Metal 88, No Truth 57

Sal Patrica had 15 for No Truth but the Scrap Iron assault of Zack "Chuck Sosa" Martel with 24 and Ryan Flauto with 18 got Scrap Metal out of bowl contention and in the playoff mix. 

Q Tang Clan 58, Birds 52

Brian Oliver (15) and Reese Baffour (15) got the Q back in the winners circle. Cole Miller (14) and Dan Libetore (14) carried the scoring load for the Birds.

Leftover Lasagna 65, BOHICA 45

Kyle McKissick (17) and Jakai Alexander (12) were the offensive focal points for Leftover as they improved to 4-1. BOHICA got 20 from Andreas Kontaplidis.

Outstanding back and forth battle - but The Reg held on to win in overtime. Russ Rau (25) and Cameron Wilkins (20) lead the charge offensively for The Reg. The Amigos were paced by Noah Ratcliffe with 15 and Stef Mascirelli with 19.

Leftover Lasagna 73, No Truth 35

Kyle Mckissick had 16 while Dave Zielinski added 15 as Leftover joined the first place log jam. Sal Patria had 12 for No Truth.

Q Tang Clan 48, Road Runners 33

Lucas Beder had 10 in defeat for the Road Runners while Luka Vlajkovic had 20 for Q Tang.

Dre Kontaplidis (21) Anthony Rial (15) lead the charge for BOHICA as Jake Ramos paced Scrap Metal with 17. 

Birds 72, D-Fence 58

D-Fence entered the game undefeated and actually took a lead halfway through the second half behind the play of Pap Payee (16) and Tyler Patchen (12) but Chris Casey (15) and Dan Libetore (24) propelled the Birds into the first place discussion with the W.

Stef Mascirelli had 28 and John Jango kicked in 13 but the Amigos fells to D-Fence in the early game. D-Fence got 21 from Logan Talbot and 21 from Papee Paye and head into the break 3-0 and in first place.

Birds 68, Scrap Metal 67

Great game in the 5PM window as Ryan Flauto scored 34 for Scrap Metal but The Birds had one too many plays in them Cole Miller had 25 and Dan Libertore had 21 as the Birds win their second straight.

Leftover Lasagna 65, The Reg 50

Jakai Alexandre scored 18 and Dave Zielinski chipped in 16 as Leftover righted the ship in week 3. The Reg suffered their first loss of the season despite 24 from Tate Pike.

BOHICA 65, Q Tang Clan 39

Jeff Hunter had 25 points and Nate Stitchell kicked in 11 as BOHICA opened it up in the second half. Q Tang got 15 from Snoop Edmonds in defeat.

Road Runners 57, No Truth 49

Elijiah Freedman had 28 points in his BVBL debut and Luke Cowan added 10 as the Road Runners found their way into the win column. Gabe Brandeo had 13 in defeat for No Truth.

Jake Ramos had 20 and Ryan Flauto kicked in 16 as the Scrap Metal team evened their record at (1-1). Amigos were paced by BVBL Hall of Famer Justin Aldrich (20) who happened to be in town for Father’s Day. The amigos are now 0-2.

The Reg 66, Road Runners 45

Russell Rau (22) and Ned Fitzpatrick (14) lead the sons of Nate Hagar to victory on Father’s Day. Luke Cowan had 11 in defeat for The Road Runners (0-2).

Q Tang Clan 58 No Truth 35

Cameron Hardy had 11 for No Truth but it was all Q Tang Clan in this one. Snoop Edmunds had 21 and Connor Manning kicked in 12 as The Q improves to 1-1.

Birds 70 BOHICA 59 

Dan Libetore (22) and Andrew Deppe (12) lead the Birds to victory over BOHICA - BOHICA got 10 from Andreas Kontaplidis.

D-Fence 61 Leftover Lasagna 49

Dom Mastascusa had 16 but Leftover Lasagna falls to 1-1 

on the young season. D-Fence finds itself tied for first place early in the slate after getting 24 from Logan Talbot.

Snoop Edmonds Q Tang Clan had 21 and some highlight real material in their victory

No Truth 57 Amigos 56

Some ridiculous late clock mistakes by Amigos and some heady late plays by No Truth allowed them to post their first victory in their first BVBL game. Gabe Brandao hit a free throw with a second remaining and bad 20 points overall as Jase Levitt chipped in 12 for No Truth. The Amigos were lead by Stef Mascirelli with 25 in their first defeat of the young season.

The Reg 57, Birds 48

The Reg got 14 from Tate Pike and 11 from Russell Rau and held on to defeat the Birds for their inaugural BVBL win. The Birds got 16 from Chris Casey in defeat. 

Leftover Lasagna 60, Q Tang Clan 51

Dom Mastascusa (13) controlled the inside while Dave Zielinski (22) had it going from outside as Leftover posted an opening day victory. Q Tang got 23 from Luka Valjkovic and 12 from Snoop Edmunds in defeat.

BOHICA 94, Road Runners 46

Nate Stitchell (36), Jeff Hunter (19) and Anthony Rial (18) were the 3 headed monster for Bohica in the 7pm game. Lucas Friedman (15) and Elijiah wheeler (11) lead the charge for the Road Runners.

D Fence 87, Scrap Metal 68 

Scrap Metal got 24 from Ryan Flauto and 15 from Jake Ramos but it was expansion club D Fence that got it going behind 19 from Tyler Patchen and 14 from Logan Talbot as well as Paye with 17.

The Q 55, Amigos 30

Sammy Bah (14) and John Annan (11) lead the charge for the Q as they cement a winning record in their first year in the league. The Amigos got 8 from Ben Reiffarth in defeat and will be the 6 seed in the playoffs. The Q will end up the 5 seed. 

Old Guys 48, Dogs 38

Zach Valliere had 13 and Anthony Rial had 12 as the Old Guys soldiered through and put themselves in position for the 1 seed. Steve Marchioni kept up his late season surge with 18. The Dogs will be the 7.

Leftover Lasagna 78, Hungry Hippos 34

Dom Mastascusa had 18 and Dave Zeilinski kicked in 14 as Leftover rounds into playoff form. They will be the 3 seed. The Hippos got 14 from the Big Fella Lubinski and will be the 8 seed. 

Uncle Dan 77, BOHICA 65

Uncle Dan throws the bracket into chaos with their commanding win over BOHICA. Ryan Flauto had 28 and Jake Ramos kicked in 16 in the victory. BOHICA got 16 from Octavio Brito and 10 from Cory Matthews in defeat. BOHICA slids to the 2 seed. While Uncle Dan jumps all the 4 to the 4. 

Week 6 July 17

BOHICA 87, Amigos 65

Kennedy Assaire had 26 points and soldiered the Amigos with some help from Stef Mascirelli 15 and John Jango 12, but the BOHICA offense had too much gas in the 5pm game. Nate Stitchell controlled the game with his passing and Jeff Hunter (32) and Corey Matthews (15) were the main recipients. Bob Perette (14) and Dre Kontaplidis (14) chipped in. They look to lock up the 1 seed next week.

Old Guys 72, The Q 49

Josh Wells (16) and Zach Valliere (17) lead the offense as the Old Guys cruised into clinching at least the #2 seed with the #1 seed still in play. John Annan (10) and Snoop Edmunds (10) paced the Q. 

Dogs 85, Hungry Hungry Hippos 54

Doug Roberge had 20 in defeat for the Hippos- The Dogs got their offense from Dan Libertore who had 27 and got 33 from Steven Marchioni. The Dogs improve to 2-4 in their inaugural BVBL campaign. 

Leftover Lasagna 71, Uncle Dan and the Beaver Clan 52

Dom Mastascusa had 19 points as Leftover pulled into a 4-way tie for 3-6th place. Eric Guglielmello had 15 in the win. Uncle Dan got 15 from Jake Ramos and 10 from Tyler Serafin.

They are also in the logjam for 3-6th place. 

Week 6 Players of the Week: Josh Wells Old Guys,  16 points but more than that, blew the game open as they handled the Q. Steven Marchioni Dogs, 33 Point performance in a big win.

AMIGOS 65, Leftover Lasagna 64 (OT)

Instant classic. Leftover jumped out to a lead behind the scoring of Kyle McKissick (22), before the Amigos surged back behind the scoring of Aidan Bradley-Main (15). Leftover would answer with Dom Mastascusa (14) and Eric Guglielmello (10) but the late play of Ryan Mellone (12) and Corey Oliver (12) allowed the Amigos (3-2) to hold off Leftover (2-3) in OT

The Q 80, Hungry Hungry Hippos 40

The Q was paced by Dylan Granmasion (12) and Shea Finnegan (10) as they down the Hippos. Lubinski chipped in 21 for the Hippos. 

BOHICA 81, The Old Guys 55

Anthony Rial had 24 or the Old Guys but Andrea Kontaplidis (21), James Ford (21) and Corey Matthews (18) shouldered the load for BOHICA as they moved into a share for first place with the Old Guys. 

Uncle Dan and The Beaver Clan 81, Dogs 80

Absolute game of the night. Kenny Seitz drained a 3 as time expired to give Uncle Dan a huge win over the Dogs. Sam Morelli (17) lead The Dogs early but Dan Libertore (36) exploded in the seonc half. Chris Casey also had 16 for the Dogs. Uncle Dan got their offense from Tyler Serafin (12), Ryan Flauto (13) and most importantly Jake Ramos with 34.  Unreal game. 

Week 5 Players of the Week: Jake Ramos Uncle Dan,  34 points in a one possession game. Dan Libertore Dogs, 36 Point performance in a losing effort, but still worth noting. 

Week 4 June 26

Amigos 76, Uncle Dan and the Beaver Clan 70

Kennedy Assare (20) and John Jango (10) spearheaded the offense for the suddenly healthy Amigos as they held off Uncle Dan in a hot weather 5PM game. Ryan Flauto (25) continued his hot rookie campaign with a lot of inside scoring while Tyler Serafin added 12 for the Uncles. Both teams no have identical 2-2 records heading into the July 4 break.

The Q 67, Dogs 40

The Q extends their winning streak to 2 with a win over the Dogs. Sammy Bah had 14 and Alex Duvall kicked in 11 as the Q wins their second straight. The Dogs were paced by Chris Casey with 12. 

BOHICA 63, Leftover Lasagna 53

It was all Leftover early as Dom Mastascusta had 13 in the first half. Kyle McKissick (12) and Dave Zielinski (13) paced Leftover in the second, but there would be too much from BOHICA in the second half. Jeff Hunter (20) and Octavio Brito (13) helped to maintain the lead, while Bob Perrette (12) broke it open with his shooting and James Ford (10) with his playmaking. Leftover is 2-2 headed into the break, while BOHICA is 3-1 staring down a huge matchup with The Old Guys.

Old Guys 85, Hungry Hippos 46

Kyle Lubinski (10 points) paced the Hippos but it was The Old Guys' night. Dan Koen (13) and Anthony Rial (12) got it going early but the story on the night was the return of Maurice Horton who had 23 points in his return to BVBL action after nearly a year. He made 4 of his first 5 threes and kept it going from there. The Old Guys are rounding into shape. 

Week 4 Players of the Week: Jeff Hunter BOHICA,  His 20 was the difference in a tight game. Maurice Horton Old Guys, 24 in his return to play. The league should take notice. 

Week 3 June 19

Old Guys 64, Amigos 57

The Amigos wouldn't go quietly as John Jango (17) and Stef Mascirelli (19) lead the charge but the Old Guys remained undefeated and pulled away behind 17 from Zach Valliere and 15 from Anthony Rial

Leftover Lasagna 67, Dogs 58

Chris Casey had 18 for the Dogs as they fell in the middle game. Kyle McKissick had 32 points and Eric Guglielmello added 18 in Leftover's win to run their record to 2-1

The Q 67, BOHICA 52

The Q built a lead early and held on as BOHICA suffered some down shooting. John Annan had 10 for the Q while Bobby Perette had 19 in defeat for BOHICA. BOHICA has not lost since before the pandemic.

Dogs 53, Amigos 50 OT

Dan Libetore's late 3 (14 points) cemented the OT victory for The Dogs. The Dogs (1-1) also got 15 from Chris Casey. The Amigos were lead by Stef Mascirelli with 17 and Corey Oliver with 14.

Uncle Dan and the Beaver Clan 56, The Q 53

Ryan Flauto (22 points) and Kenny Seitz (12) and Nate Davilla (13) shouldered the offensive load as Uncle Dan came back from a double digit deficit to post their first win on the season. The Q got 16 from Alex Duvall and 10 from John Amman in defeat.

BOHICA 80, Hungry Hippos 34

Andreas Kontaplidis dropped 30 in his season debut and James Ford kicked in 17 as BOHICA cruised to it's second win on the young season. Letrell Gamble had 10 for the Hippo Club. 

Old Guys 54, Leftover Lasagna 48 OT

Super well played early season game. Kyle McKissick (22 points) had Leftover out to a small lead by the scoring of Kamahl Walker (16) and Anthony Rial (18)  the Old Guys all the way back to an OT win.                                                              

Week 2 Player of the Week: Ryan Flauto, Uncle Dan and the Beaver Clan, 22 points in a hard fought victory for the young big man.

Leftover avenged an early season loss with a sound victory in game 1 of the playoffs. Dom Mastascusta had 20 and Kyle McKissick added 15 as Leftover coasts into the semis. 

Stef Mascirelli had 15 in defeat for the Amigos and Corey Oliver added 14

The Dogs got 15 from Sam Morelli as they finished their first year in the league. BOHICA was spearheaded by Andreas Kontaplidis who posted 35 and Jeff Hunter with 29 in the victory. BOHICA advances to face Leftover while The Dogs will return in 2023.

Sam Baugh (18) and Sean Manning (16) lead the offense for the Q as they outlasted a depleted Uncle Dan crew. Jake Ramos had a game high 22 in defeat and Tyler Serafin added 15.

Tommy Mooney had 38 Zach Valliere kicked in 14 and Maurice Horton had 14 of his own as The Old Guys cruised into the semi. The Hippos got 16 from Nick Donahue and 15 from Justin Keyes. 

Player of the Week: Tommy Mooney, Old Guys. In a week of blowouts, 38 points takes the cake. Tommy is also the youngest of the old guys.

(7) Leftover  Lasagna 58, 146 Hybrid 45

Two strong teams that ended up with low seeds due to attendance and upsets met in a play in. Jack Margoupis (10) and Ashton Grennon (10) lead the charge for 146, but there was too much Kyle McKissick (18) and Joey Barillo (13) for the Leftover squad. 146 has a young group that will be heard from in the future while Leftover advances to the quarters to face the defending Champs.

(6) Uncle Dan and the Beavers Clan 63, (11) H1and1 43

Kenny Seitz (11), Corey Gomes (13), Tyler Serafin (10), and Brian D'Ambra (13) lead a balanced attack for Uncle Dan as they punched their ticket to the quarters. Corey Matthews had 17 to complete a stellar season for H1and1.

(8) Runners 70, (9) Lancers 69

Sam Monette (24), Luke Cowan (11), and Trevor Kovac (11) helped the Runners take a 1 point lead into the final seconds. A Tejuan McKenzie runner didn't go and the Runners got their way to the quarters. The Lancers got 15 from Dan Libetore in the defeat.

(4) Amigo Basketball Club 71, (5) Misty Geebs 61

Misty Geebs climbed the seeding ladder with some late season upsets, and they hung with the Amigos for 30 minutes today, before ultimately falling. Asong Leke had 15 for Misty and Sam Morelli added 14. ABC road the broad shoulders of Kennedy Assaire (27) and the scoring of Stef Mascirelli (15) while John Jango (11) and Nate Manz (10) chipped in. They make the first Final 4 in franchise history. 

(2) Champs 59, (7) Leftover Lasagna 44

Two games in one day is a big ask, but Connor Brown (10) and Kyle McKissick (11) kept Leftover close before the Champs opened it up behind Kamahl Walker (15), and Zach Valliere (13). The Champs return to the final 4. Leftover one of the league's true legacy franchises added some pierces this year.

(3) Size Matters 66, (6) Uncle Dan and the Beaver Clan 54

Uncle Dan put up a fight, but Size Matters had too much firepower on this evening. Joe Sekator found his stroke to the tune of 28 points and Matt Morrow added 24. The Beaver Clan got 13 from Corey Gomes on the back end of a back to back. Size Matters will take on the defending Champs in the semis next week,

BOHICA was cold early and the Runners hung in behind 16 from Luis Martinez and 13 from Sam Monette. Jeff Hunter (23) anchored the inside for BOHICA until Dre Kontaplidis (17) got it going in the second half. BOHICA will face ABC in the semis as they look to return to championship glory
